What Is Non-Medical Home Care?

A: Non-medical home care provides hands-on daily living support without clinical or medical services. Payment & Insurance

A: Salvation Home Health Care accepts three payment methods:
(1) Private pay — you pay directly;

A: Private pay home care offers several significant advantages: no waitlists, no eligibility requirements, no lengthy approval processes, faster care placement (often within 24–48 hours), more caregiver choice, flexible scheduling, and the ability to start and stop services on your own timeline without government program restrictions.

A: In some cases, non-medical home care expenses may qualify as a medical expense deduction on your federal tax return — particularly when care is required due to a medical condition or disability. We recommend consulting a tax professional for your specific situation.
